NYC - S/S 2006 John Bartlett Men

John Bartlett’s Spring/Summer collection is one to scratch you head about. “What was he thinking?” Although I fell in love with the opening hats with their front and back brims. The Birkenstocks paired with purple socks was a big whoops, the distracted you from the clothes. No wonder, many pieces were made of stiff linen and big bulky hemp. The cut of the hemp pants are also poorly executed, first guess is in the cut. Overall the collection has no stand out pieces a real disappointment for menswear. Mr. Bartlett has such a great track record. I will give Mr. Bartlett a hand for the brilliant casting of some good looking redhead models.
